There’s no polite way to put this: Greece is….old.
Yet what this iconic Mediterranean destination may lack in youth, it more than makes up for in historical wonders that have graced its sunkissed lands since ancient times. And one of said wonders is Mount Olympus. Yes, the very home of Greece’s Olympian gods, from whence Zeus embarked on all of his shenanigans.
Today, however, it is also known as the country’s highest peak, as well as Greece’s premier hiking and mountaineering destination. And as of now, for being one of its 21 UNESCO World Heritage Sites!
